How to Set Up PayPal for Your Etsy Shop

For sellers using Etsy Payments, PayPal is automatically a payment option for buyers purchasing from your shop.

If you’re in a country that isn’t eligible for Etsy Payments, you can use your own PayPal account to accept payments. To set up PayPal:

  1. On Etsy.com, click Shop Manager.
  2. Click Finances.
  3. Click Payment settings.
  4. Click Enable manual payment methods.
  5. Toggle PayPal to On.
  6. Enter the email address associated with your PayPal account.
  7. Click Save.

How to set up PayPal for your Etsy shop in Turkey

If you’re an Etsy seller located in Turkey and you have an eligible PayPal account, you may be able to use PayPal for your Etsy shop. Click Contact support at the bottom of this page, and Etsy Support can help.

If you don’t have an eligible PayPal account, you’ll need to use a different payment option.

When you enrol in PayPal

If you’re using PayPal without Etsy Payments, shoppers who buy from your shop have the option to pay with PayPal. If a buyer pays with PayPal, the funds are sent to your PayPal account.

When you enrol in Etsy Payments

If you are enrolled in Etsy Payments, shoppers who buy from your shop have the option to pay with PayPal. If a buyer pays with PayPal, the funds are sent to your Payment account and the payment will be deposited into your bank account.
