How to Set Up PayPal for Your Etsy Shop

For sellers using Etsy Payments, PayPal is automatically a payment option for buyers purchasing from your shop.

As PayPal does not operate in Turkey, sellers located in Turkey cannot accept PayPal in their shops. Additionally, sellers located in Israel and enrolled in Etsy Payments cannot currently accept PayPal payments.

If you’re in a country that isn’t eligible for Etsy Payments, you can use your own PayPal account to accept payments. To set up PayPal:

  1. On Etsy.com, click the Your Account icon, then click Shop Manager.
  2. Click Finances.
  3. Click Payment settings.
  4. Click Enable manual payment methods.
  5. Toggle PayPal to On.
  6. Enter the email address associated with your PayPal account.
  7. Click Save.

When you enrol in Etsy Payments

If you are enrolled in Etsy Payments and PayPal operates in your country, shoppers who buy from your shop have the option to pay with PayPal. If a buyer pays with PayPal, the funds are sent to your Payment account and the payment will be deposited into your bank account.

If you have an issue with PayPal, check out the PayPal Help Centre.
