Quick answer
Check your email for an order confirmation from transaction@etsy.com, and select View your order within. If you can’t find the email, look in your spam and recycling bin and then check any other email accounts you could have used.
You can find orders you purchased with your Etsy account on your Purchases page:
- Sign in to Etsy.com and go to Your account. On the Etsy app, sign in and tap You.
- Go to Purchases and reviews.
If you can't find an order on your Purchases page, you may have checked out with a different Etsy account, or checked out as a guest.

Select View your order in the order confirmation email to open the order in your account. If you purchased as a guest, use the same email address when you purchased the order to sign in or create an account.
How to tell if you ordered with a different Etsy account
To see if you ordered with a different Etsy account, first check your order confirmation email. If you ordered while signed in to an account, the order confirmation will have a Help With Order button next to the shop name.
If you can’t find your order confirmation email, try using a different email address to sign in.
- Sign out by going to Your account.
- Go to Account settings.
- Scroll down to see which email address is associated with this account.
- Go back to Your account, then Sign out.
- Select Sign in and try signing in with one of your other email addresses. If you paid with PayPal, you may have used your PayPal email address to create an account. You may need to reset your password. If you don't have an Etsy account associated with that email address, you'll see an error message.
- Go to Your account, then Purchases and reviews to check if this is the account you used to make the order.
- Tap You.
- Tap Settings.
- See what email address is associated with this account at the top of the page.
- Scroll down and tap Sign out.
- Tap I already have an account and try signing in with one of your other email addresses. If you paid with PayPal, you may have used your PayPal email address to create an account. You may need to reset your password. If you don't have an Etsy account associated with that email address, you'll see an error message.
- Tap You, then Purchases & reviews to check if this is the account you used to make the order.
How to tell if you purchased as a guest
If you purchased as a guest, the order confirmation email will say Reply to this email to contact the seller next to the shop name.
If you haven’t claimed the order to your account yet, you can reply to the order confirmation email to get in touch with the seller.
Claiming a guest order will add the order to your account’s Purchases and reviews page. Claiming allows you to leave a review for the item and let Etsy know if there’s a problem with the order.
- Find the order confirmation email from transaction@etsy.com. If you paid with PayPal, you may have used your PayPal email address to purchase and will need to check the inbox for this email address.
- Select the order number in the first line of your receipt.
- You’ll be prompted to sign in or create an Etsy account on Etsy.com. Use the email you purchased with.
- Your order will automatically be added to your Etsy account.

I still can’t find my order
If you can’t find any record of your order or an order confirmation email from Etsy:
- You might have placed the order on a different site. Some Etsy sellers have shops on other platforms and have links to them in their Etsy shop homepages. Check for a charge on your credit card statement for the amount of your order and confirm where you made the purchase.
- You may have entered a typo in your email when purchasing as a guest. Etsy Support can give you an update about your order in that case. Use the button below to contact support.
