Why Is My Payment Still Processing?

We’re currently experiencing longer processing times than usual. If you have questions about your order, please reach out to the seller. They’ll be able to take further action on the order once it is processed.

If you received an email from Etsy saying that your Etsy payment is still processing, it means that your purchase is being reviewed by Etsy.

Etsy screens and reviews all Etsy Payments orders to ensure that the order is legitimate. Some transactions are reviewed faster than others, which is why you only receive an email for certain orders. Our review process protects you and other buyers and sellers on Etsy from possible fraud.

Most orders are processed within 72 hours, although some orders may take longer. You and the seller will receive a separate confirmation email when the review is complete.

You may see a pending charge on your credit card or bank statement while we work to process your order. The charge will only be finalised when the purchase has been processed successfully.
