While checking out, you'll have a chance to review your information before submitting your order.
If you need to select a different shipping address, click the Change link next to the Shipping address section on your Review and submit your order page.
Changing the address after you've placed an order
If you've already placed an order with an incorrect shipping address, the first thing you should do is contact the seller to see if they can cancel the transaction. This would allow you to repurchase the item(s) using the correct shipping address.
- You can send the seller a conversation directly from your Purchases page. To do this, click You > Purchases and reviews and find your order. Click Contact The Shop on the right.
- You can also email the seller directly. On the Purchases page, click View Receipt on the right of the transaction information. There's a link to email the shop at the bottom of the receipt page.
- If you purchased using guest checkout, you can contact the seller by responding to the receipt email that was sent to you after purchase.
At this time, it's not possible for us to manually edit the address in your order confirmation.
Determining if your order is lost in the mail
If the seller was unable to change the address before shipment, your next step is to refer to the seller's shop policies regarding lost in the mail orders. Some sellers may offer a replacement or a refund in this circumstance, but this is not required by Etsy.
You may also want to contact the shipping service to see if they can reroute the order.
If your package is missing, most shipping services require that the sender open a claim. If this is the case, you may need to ask the seller to assist you.
