If you try to sign into your account and you receive an error message, it may mean that our security team has temporarily limited access to your Etsy account.
This only indicates that we want to protect you and play it safe. It does not necessarily mean that your account has been hacked or compromised.
This also means that you’ll need to create a new password to sign in to your account.
- Click here and enter the email address on file with your Etsy account.
- After clicking Submit, you'll receive an email which includes a link to reset your password.
- Clicking the link will direct you back to Etsy where you can set a new password for your account.
- You'll then receive a second email letting you know that your password has been changed.
If you have any trouble receiving the password reset email, please check your spam/junk mail folder to make sure the email didn't end up there.
Once you’ve signed back into your account, please review all of your personal information - such as your financial information and delivery address - to ensure that nothing has been changed without your authorisation.
