You can request a refund for any shipping label less than 15 days old that hasn't been used to ship a package.
Note: If a label bears any tracking events whatsoever, the package will be classified as having been shipped.
Go to Shop Manager > Orders & Shipping, find your order and click the receipt number. Scroll down to the Shipping Label box.
Click Options on the right. Then select Request a Refund.
You can also request a refund by going to Shop Manager > Orders & Shipping > View shipping labels > Purchased Labels. Find the label you’d like to request a refund for, click the gear icon to the right, and select Request Refund.
Select the reason for the refund and submit your request.
After you submit your request, Etsy will send you an email confirming that your request was received.
How long will it take?
Refunds must undergo an approval process and can take 15-30 days to complete.
How will I know if my request was approved or denied?
When your refund is either approved or denied, you'll receive an email. Credits from approved refunds will appear on your Etsy bill as Canada Post Shipping Label and Fees Refund.
The sum of any taxes incurred will appear as a separate credit on your bill listed as Canada Post Shipping Label Tax Refund. If you purchased Coverage against loss or damage on Etsy, you will receive another credit listed as Canada Post Coverage Refund.
