Use your bio to introduce yourself to shoppers and other sellers in the Etsy community. Make your bio personal by describing things about yourself and your business. You can add your interests, crafts, hobbies, and other fun things about you. 

Bios are where all members can share details about themselves. If you're a seller, you can add information about your business in your shop's About section. 

To enter your bio:

1. On Etsy.com, go to Your account.
2. Go to Account settings.
3. Go to Edit profile. 
4. Enter your bio into the About field.
5. When you’re done, seelct Save changes.

If you have more than one Etsy account, you must list all of them in the Public Profile section of each account.

How to upload a profile picture

To upload a profile picture:

1. On Etsy.com, go to Your account.
2. Go to Account settings.
3. Go to Public profile. 
4. Choose Browse or Choose file to locate the image file on your computer.
5. Select an image to use. 
6. Select Save Changes.  

If you’re a seller, this image will appear on the site as your Shop Owner photo.

Profile Picture Tips

• The image you use must be at least 400 x 400 pixels in size and smaller than 10MB. 
• Make sure your original image is a square, or your profile picture will be distorted on the site. 
• You can't delete your profile picture, but you can always replace it with a new one. 
• Profile pictures should be a .jpg, .png, or .gif file only.

How to add your Etsy shop to your profile

To add your shop to your public profile:

1. On Etsy.com, go to Your account.
2. Go to Account settings.
3. Go to Public profile. 
4. Under Include on Your Profile, check Shop.
5. Select Save Changes.
