Etsy and Etsy Studio are two separate markets, each with their own website. While the Etsy market is for everything from supplies to finished goods, Etsy Studio is dedicated specifically to craft supplies.
Both markets have their own unique look and feel but are still part of the same company, Etsy, Inc.
The primary goals of Etsy, Inc., are to build markets, services, and provide creative opportunities for creative entrepreneurs. Etsy Studio gives craft supply sellers and buyers a dedicated market for all their supply needs.
Craft supply items
Craft supplies are items used to make finished items or plan events. They can be handmade, vintage, or even commercial craft supplies.

What looks different?
The first difference you'll notice with Etsy Studio is the look and feel of the market:
You may also see some other differences that make Etsy Studio its own market:
On Etsy Studio, we show you if an item is organic, handmade, or an ethically manufactured supply.
- Etsy Studio also puts inspirational, step-by-step DIY project ideas front and center for everyone to discover.
Like Etsy, using the search bar and browsing by item category are still the best ways to explore Etsy Studio and find items.
Your shop on Etsy Studio
On Etsy Studio, the item listing is the main feature when exploring the market. Buyers can still make their way to your shop from your item listing pages.
You will still have a shop homepage on Etsy Studio that will display all your craft supply listings in one place. It will also still show key parts of your shop like your reviews, your number of sales, as well as your About profile.
Because of Etsy Studio’s new look, you won’t see your Etsy banner on Etsy Studio.
Your avatar photo will remain the same as your picture on Etsy.
