How to Create and Manage Shop Sections

You can organize your products into groups shoppers can explore. Use sections to group together item listings by type, size, or any other category shoppers might use to browse your items. Your sections are displayed as links in the left sidebar of your shop. 

To add sections to your shop:

  1. On, go to your Shop Manager.
  2. Select Listings.
  3. Under Sections, select Organize your listings
  4. Name your new section and choose Save.
  5. To add a new section, select Manage and choose Add section

Shop section basics:

  • You can have up to 20 custom sections, as well as the default All items section that is in every shop. 
  • A section name can be up to 24 characters. 
  • Sections that don’t have any item listings won’t appear on your public shop page. 
  • You can only add a listing to one section. 

How to add items to a shop section

To add items to a shop section:

  1. On, go to your Shop Manager.
  2. Choose Listings.
  3. Select the checkbox of the listings you want in a specific section.
  4. Choose Editing options.
  5. Choose Change section.
  6. Select the new section you want to add these listings to.
  7. Choose Apply.

You can also remove items from a section using these steps.

How to rename or delete a shop section

To rename or delete shop sections:

  1. On, go to your Shop Manager.
  2. Select Listings.
  3. Next to Sections, select Manage.
  4. Select the pencil icon next to the section you want to change.
  5. Rename the section and select Save Changes, or choose Delete section to remove it.

Deleting a section doesn’t deactivate the listings within that section. These listings will now appear in All items.
