Most sellers on Etsy offer:

Some sellers accept only some of these methods.
Credit and debit cards
Sellers who accept credit and debit cards on Etsy accept most major credit issuers, including:
- Visa
- Mastercard/Eurocard
- Diners Club
- Discover
- American Express
- JCB
- Carte Bleue (France)
You may see a pending transaction on your credit card bill for a small amount. This is a pre-authorization test to ensure your card is valid. Once your card has been validated, it will be dropped from your statement.
Your card will be saved for future purchases, and can be removed or edited.
- Go to Your account, then Account settings.
- Go to Credit Cards.
- Select Edit or Remove.

If you're in the EEA
If you're in the EEA, which comprises the EU, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein, you may be asked to authenticate your payment when you complete a purchase.
To authenticate a payment, you will need to respond to a prompt from your card issuer and provide additional information. Depending on your card issuer, this additional information may include a correct response to a question, a password, or a passcode.
Etsy gift card and Etsy credits
If you have an Etsy gift card or Etsy credit balance, the option to pay with that balance will automatically be selected. Deselect the box if you'd prefer not to use your balance. Learn more about redeeming and applying an Etsy gift card or Etsy credit
You need an Etsy account in order to redeem an Etsy gift card or Etsy credit.
Apple Pay
Apple Pay is a mobile payment service available to many iOS buyers who are shopping on the mobile app or Safari on desktop or mobile.
Google Pay
Google Pay is a payment service available to buyers who are shopping on the Android mobile app, or using a desktop or mobile browser.
PayPal
If you choose to pay through PayPal, you'll be redirected to a secure PayPal page and then back to Etsy to confirm the order. When purchasing using PayPal on multi-shop checkout, you can purchase from up to 10 shops in one transaction.
You may be able to pay with a card via PayPal without a PayPal account.
- Select Check out with PayPal and you’ll be redirected to PayPal. Instead of choosing to pay with your PayPal account, select Pay with Debit or Credit Card.
- You'll be prompted to fill in your billing and credit card information.
- Enter your email address so PayPal can send you a receipt.
- Select Continue to return to Etsy. Your payment isn't sent until you select the Submit order on Etsy.
PayPal places restrictions on how often you can use their Guest Checkout feature. If you run into any trouble or have any questions about PayPal's Guest Checkout, please contact PayPal directly.
As PayPal does not operate in Türkiye, PayPal is not available in shops or for buyers located in Türkiye. Additionally, sellers in Israel cannot currently accept PayPal payments. However you can purchase in their shops using any other available payment methods.
Klarna installments (Australia, Spain, United Kingdom, and United States)
Buyers with a billing address in Australia, Spain, the United Kingdom, or the United States may be able to pay for certain items in installments with Klarna, an online payments company.
When you order on Etsy using Klarna, you agree to Klarna’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice, and make your installment payments directly to Klarna.

To see this payment option, your location, language, and currency settings must be consistent with your region and your order total must fall within a specific range depending on your location.

Klarna Pay in 30 days (Germany,Netherlands, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, and Norway)
Etsy buyers located in Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, and Norway can receive their orders before paying for them, using a product called Klarna Pay in 30 days. Klarna is an online payments company, based and licensed in Sweden. Learn more about Klarna.
If you don’t see this option, and you’re located in the countries mentioned, make sure your region settings are set to your location, and language, by scrolling to the bottom of most Etsy pages. iDEAL bank transfers
You can pay with a bank transfer via iDEAL in the Netherlands or Sofort in Germany and Austria.
You’ll be transferred to iDEAL or Sofort’s website to authorize your payment. You’ll then be directed back to Etsy.
You must have an Etsy account to pay with bank transfer.
If you don’t see this option, and you’re in one of these countries, make sure your region setting is correct by scrolling to the bottom of most Etsy pages. Select the country and change your Region. If it’s already correct, the seller may not accept bank transfers.
Sofort bank transfers through Klarna
If you’re located in Germany or Austria, you can use SOFORT through Klarna to pay for your order. Learn more about checkout using SOFORT through Klarna.
