How to Opt-out of Personalized Advertising

Any Etsy member can opt out of personalized advertising on Etsy. Personalized advertising is also known as interest-based advertising. Personalized advertising enables advertisers to reach Etsy members based on their interests and demographics.

If you have an Etsy Account, you can opt-out of receiving personalized advertising:

  1. While signed into your account on Etsy.com, click the Your account button.
  2. Click Account settings.
  3. Click Privacy.
  4. Scroll down to Personalized Advertising under Privacy settings. For members in the EU, scroll down to Third Party Advertising, which is opt-out by default.
  5. Toggle Personalized Advertising to Off.
  6. Click Update settings.

Alternatively, or if you don’t have an Etsy account, you can set your preference to opt-out of personalized advertising by clicking Privacy Settings, located at the footer on most pages on Etsy.com.
