To help you find the best items for you on Etsy, you’ll see different badges on items in Etsy search:

Bestseller 

An item with a bestseller badge has had high sales volume in the past 6 months, and is popular with other shoppers.

Etsy’s Pick

Items with an Etsy’s Pick badge are chosen by Etsy style experts to highlight items from shops that have shown quality, reliability and style.

Free shipping

The free shipping badge means that this item ships for free to your stated location.

What to check before buying

After you pick out some items in search, here are more signals you can use to tell if this item will work for you:

Star Seller

Etsy sets a high customer service standard for all sellers. When you see a Star Seller badge, it means the seller sets a shining example for providing a great customer experience, with a history of 5-star reviews, on-time shipping, and quick replies. 

Shop reviews

You can see reviews on a shop homepage or on the listing page when viewing an item. Shop reviews are  feedback from buyers who have purchased from this shop previously. Some buyers  include photos in their reviews, which along with the listing photos will give you a sense of what the item will look like. The star rating you see for a seller is the average of the reviews they’ve received from buyers in the past 12 months.

Policies

All Etsy shops have their own policies where sellers outline if and how they accept returns or cancellations. Check if a seller offers returns or cancellations before purchasing.

When your order should arrive

Under the Add to cart button, you can see the day this item should arrive if you order now. 

Gift wrapping 

Under the Add to cart button, you may see Gift wrapping available. If you’re sending a gift to someone, you can ask the seller to wrap the item before shipping it.

Selling fast

This item is low in stock, or other shoppers have it in their carts.

Message the seller

You can message the seller with any questions you have about an item to help with your decision. You can see how quickly sellers usually reply under the Message button on the listing page.
