If you’re in India and purchasing from a shop located in India, you can check out using Unified Payments Interface (UPI), Net Banking, or a credit/debit card. To use these payment methods, make sure your currency is set to INR and your region is set to India. Learn how to change your regional settings.
You can purchase with UPI, Net Banking, or a credit/debit card without signing in to Etsy. However, if you want to change your regional settings, you’ll have to create an account.
Before you can use these payment methods, make sure you’re purchasing from a shop in India, or these options will be unavailable at checkout. On the shop home page, look for the seller’s location underneath the shop name.

How to pay with credit and debit cards
Some sellers on Etsy accept credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and RuPay.
RuPay only appears as a credit card option when you purchase from a seller located in India. If you purchase from a seller outside India, you won’t see this option.
You may see a pending transaction on your credit card bill for a small amount. This is a pre-authorization test to ensure your card is valid. Once your card is validated, it’s dropped from your statement.
