Your funds aren’t scheduled to deposit yet
If you're a new seller, your funds will generally be eligible for deposit 14 days after a sale, though it may take longer depending on the specific standing of your shop. For established shops, Etsy Payments orders may become available for deposit the next business day depending on the specific standing of your shop.
Sellers who receive deposits to their bank account can set up a deposit schedule for available funds. If the date of your next deposit hasn’t occurred yet, you can wait for that date, or select Start a transfer under your amount Ready for deposit.
- Sign in to Etsy.com and go to Shop Manager.
- From Finances, go to Payments Settings.
- Under Deposit schedule, choose daily, weekly, biweekly, or monthly deposits.
- Go to More.
- Under Finances, select Payment settings.
- Under Deposit schedule, choose daily, weekly, biweekly, or monthly deposits.
The daily deposit schedule requires that a minimum deposit amount be met before the funds will be automatically deposited. This minimum amount varies by country.
If your balance doesn't meet the daily minimum, you may still receive a deposit based on your deposit schedule or, if eligible, by selecting Request it now.
At this time, sellers who are required to use a Payoneer Payment Account are only able to receive deposits from Etsy each Monday.
Your fees are greater than your sales
If you owe more fees for your Etsy shop than you made in sales, you won’t have funds available for deposit. This means that your current balance is negative.
- Sign in to Etsy.com and go to Shop Manager.
- From Finances, go to Payment account.
- Under Current, you’ll see your current balance. This is your sales minus your fees, refunds, and shipping label purchases. If this balance is positive, you’ll see an amount Ready for deposit.
- Go to More.
- Under Finances, select Payment account.
- Under Current, you’ll see your current balance.

Verify your bank account
If your bank account is located in the EU, Hong Kong, Singapore or Switzerland, you will need to verify your bank account before you can receive any funds from your sales for compliance purposes.
No matter where your bank account is located, you may see a message in your Payment account that you need to verify your bank account to continue receiving deposits. Verify your bank account in your Payment settings, and your next deposit will be sent according to your deposit schedule.

You recently updated your bank account
You will need to verify your bank account before you can receive any funds from your sales for compliance purposes.
Once you’ve updated your bank account, your Etsy Payments funds will be on hold for 5 days after verification to protect your account from any possible misuse. This means your Etsy Payments funds can be deposited into your new bank account from 5 days after Etsy verifies your new bank details.
If your new bank account is located outside the US, you will need to verify your bank account before you can receive any funds from your sales for compliance purposes.
Your funds are placed in a Payment account reserve
If a Payment account reserve is placed on your account, a percentage of your sales are set aside on a rolling basis for a set number of days.
Reserves are a common practice in online marketplaces. They can help keep your Payment account balance from going into the negative if you receive a chargeback from a customer’s credit card company, or any other unexpected charges.
How do I know if there’s a reserve in my account?
You’ll be notified by email and in Shop Manager if a reserve is placed in your Payment account.
- On Etsy.com, go to Shop Manager.
- Go to Finances.
- Go to Payment account.
- If you have a reserve, you’ll see the default holding time period and percentage of reserve funds in a section located below your total Payment account balance.
- Go to More.
- Under Finances, select Payment account.
- If you have a reserve, you’ll see the default holding time period and percentage of reserve funds in a section located below your total Payment account balance.

You need to confirm your seller info
Check your Shop Manager Dashboard for a banner asking you to confirm your seller info to continue getting paid. Etsy routinely notifies some sellers they must confirm their seller info to comply with regulations. Depending on if and what regulations apply to your shop, Etsy may need to hold your deposits until you confirm your info.
