To reopen an Etsy account you previously closed, click Reopen your account and enter the email address associated with the closed account:
You'll receive an email from Etsy with a link to reopen your account. Click the link to reopen your account.
If you don't receive the email:
- Check your spam or junk mail.
- If you're using Gmail, also check your Social and Promotions tabs.
If you permanently closed and deleted your account, you can’t reopen it.
Given the expanding business restrictions in Russia, we’ve suspended shops located in Russia. We don’t know when business restrictions will be lifted. However, we’re monitoring the situation closely, and we’ll be in touch with any updates as soon as we can. Our support agents can’t provide any further information at this time.

All your information will be exactly as you left it.
If your shop was suspended, you may have received an email from Etsy letting you know. Respond directly to that email and request that your shop be reopened.
Currently, you may only be able to open an Etsy shop in a country where Etsy Payments is available. Etsy can only offer payment services in certain countries at this time. We are working to support additional countries in the future.
