How to Add a Shop Announcement

Your shop announcement appears under the listings on your shop homepage. You can update your announcement to alert shoppers to important information like a sale or if you are away on holidays. 

To add or edit your shop announcement:

  1. On, click Shop Manager.
  2. Click the pencil icon next to your shop name under Sales Channels.
  3. Scroll down below your listings to the Announcement section.
  4. Click Add a shop announcement or Edit.
  5. Add your announcement.
  6. Click Save.

We recommend that you keep your announcement short and sweet. You can add more detailed information to your About section, public profile, shop policies, and item descriptions.

If your shop isn't open to the public yet, you won’t be able to add an announcement until you open your shop. Learn more about setting up your shop.
