How to Reopen Your Account

To reopen a closed account on Etsy, click Reopen your account and enter the email address associated with the closed account:

You'll receive an email from Etsy with a link to reopen your account. Click the link to reopen your account.

If you don't receive the email:

  • Check your spam or junk mail.
  • If you're using Gmail, also check your Social and Promotions tabs.

If your account was suspended by Etsy

Check your email inbox for a notice about your account suspension. If you’re unable to locate an email about your suspended account, check your spam or junk mail.

Respond directly to the email you received.

If you can’t find a relevant email, or the email you received is from noreply@etsy.com, get in touch with Etsy Support by clicking Contact support at the bottom of this page.

Given the expanding business restrictions in Russia, we’ve suspended shops located in Russia. We don’t know when business restrictions will be lifted. However, we’re monitoring the situation closely, and we’ll be in touch with any updates as soon as we can. Our support agents can’t provide any further information at this time.

Go to this page to reopen a closed account on Etsy, and select Reopen your account. Enter the email address associated with the closed account. You'll receive an email from Etsy with a link to reopen your account. Click the link to reopen your account.

All your information will be exactly as you left it.

Reopen my account

If your shop was suspended, you may have received an email from Etsy letting you know. Respond directly to that email and request that your shop be reopened.

Currently, you may only be able to open an Etsy shop in a country where Etsy Payments is available. Etsy can only offer payment services in certain countries at this time. We are working to support additional countries in the future.

If your account was suspended for an overdue balanceyou’ll need to pay your amount due to reinstate your account. After you pay your balance, your account should be automatically unsuspended.
