Welcome back! Whether you’re a seasonal seller on Etsy, or you’re returning after a long break, there’s a few things that you should review before reopening your shop or turning off vacation mode.
What’s changed on Etsy?
If you’ve been away for a while, you’ve probably missed some new features, policy changes, or programs. Here are a few ways to get caught up:
-
Search your inbox for emails from Etsy. We directly alert sellers to important changes that affect your account and business.
- Review our Site Updates to learn about new features and for seasonal selling checklists.
- Visit the Forums Announcements to see what’s been happening in the Etsy community.
I’m having trouble signing in
If you’ve forgotten your password since you last signed in to Etsy, you can reset it.
If you’re still having trouble, there’s a few possible reasons why you’re unable to access your account. Learn how to resolve your sign-in issues.
Is my financial information up to date?
Your bank details or credit card information may have changed since the last time you were on Etsy, so make sure they’re updated before you can resume selling.
Can I use Etsy Payments now?
It’s possible that Etsy Payments became available in your country since you last signed in. If that’s the case, you’ll need to enroll in Etsy Payments before you can resume selling on Etsy.
What else should I review before I start?
Even though you’re not a beginner, it’s a good idea to review some basic tips for selling on Etsy. We recommend the Ultimate Guides series in the Seller Handbook, especially the Ultimate Guide to Starting an Etsy Shop.
