I’m about to or have already placed an order on Etsy
Contact the seller first
If your question is about an item or an order, the seller is the best person to help you.
- Have a question before buying? Message the seller from the listing page.
- Need help with an order you’ve already placed? Choose your order to contact the seller.
Sellers can help with topics like shipping updates, item details, customizations, or resolving issues with your order.

I need to resolve a policy issue with my account or listing
If your account or listing has been suspended, live support agents may have limited ability to help. Check the email notice you received for next steps, reply directly to the team that reached out, or submit an appeal if you're eligible. Here are some additional resources:
- Not sure why your shop’s listing was removed? Check how to find a missing listing, learn why Etsy would remove a listing, and review what can be sold on Etsy.
- Learn how to reinstate a suspended account.
- If your account was permanently suspended by Etsy, you may be able to file an appeal.
I want to check if a call or message is really from Etsy
Etsy Support won’t make unrequested phone calls without prior notification. If you receive an unexpected phone call from someone claiming to be Etsy Support, do not engage.
If you receive an onsite message, email, or phone call from someone claiming to be Etsy, there are a few ways you can verify the authenticity of the message.
- Messages from Etsy will always appear in the From Etsy folder in Messages.
- Emails from Etsy will always have /etsy.com/ contained in the sender’s address. Forward suspected Etsy phishing emails to ReportPhishing@etsy.com.
- Etsy will only reach out by phone after you have first requested a call back for support.
